Prior to that IT4A MD John French was the Director of Product Marketing for Hirschmann. Whilst at Hirschmann John launched the first generation of Industrial Ethernet (IE) switch the RS1 and later authored various whitepapers on the subject of Industrial Ethernet. These skills were transferred into NETdot3/IT4Automation in 2006.
